Salacgrīva Yacht Port
The Port of Salacgrīva is the farthest northern port in Latvia - it is located on the NE edge of the Gulf of Rīga at the mouth of the Salaca River, 100 km north of Rīga and 13 km south of the Latvian-Estonian border.
Old stories swirl around this port, because port was mentioned in 1368 as the port of the Archbishop of Livonia. More recent stories, are about the Salacgrīva marina - since the end of the last century it has been located on the right bank of the Salaca River, clearly visible when crossing the Salaca River Bridge and the beautiful Salaca estuary with its various yacht profiles.
! For long-term use of the dock, the owner of the watercraft must conclude an agreement with the Salacgrīva Port Authority.

Salacgrīva Lighthouse is located on the right bank of the Salaca River - a square white tower with a red lantern at the end. Today the lighthouse is no longer in operation.
