In 1872, the Lāņi manor estate (Lāndhof) was separated from the Svētciems manor. In the same year, the Lāņi manor house was completed. Its owner until 1940 was Baron Reinhard von Fegezack, who was an agronomist by education. Height 2.1 m, width 3 m, length 6 m, surface volume 16 m3. This moulded stone has sharp, broken geometric lines, vertical lateral edges, cracks, jagged edges, without any rounded lines. The unusually elongated shape and sharp edges suggest that the Kutkāji boulder has not retained its original bulk and rounded shape, but has been stonecut. More info ››

The walking trails of Bīriņi Castle lead through and around two estate parks: Priežkalns Park and Mežaparks. Together, they form a large, unified territory of the estate center, which is a rare treasure in Latvia and is passed down to future generations with national protection number 6455. More info ››

The Bīriņi Manor Cemetery was built in 1819 under the guidance of Count Ludwig August Mellin. A hill was used for its construction, with an underground space created and reinforced with a barrel-shaped brick vault. One side of the hill was excavated to create an entrance, which is located between walls made of fieldstones. The aisles and niches were once decorated with lavish oak leaf and flower garlands cast in lime mortar. Currently, the cemetery is owned by the Vidriži Parish of Limbaži Municipality. More info ››
