Ežurga cliffs
A sandstone outcrop of the Burtnieki Suite, up to 3.5 m high and about 50 m wide. The outcrop is a beautiful red colour. The Ežurga flows into the sea with a waterfall in the northern part of the cliffs. In the northern part, north of the mouth of the Ežurga, the cliffs are smooth and about 10 m wide.
It is best reached by a short or longer hike along the sea. Two small waterfalls form near the cliffs, which are a few metres high, in spring and after rainfall. At the bottom of the outcrop, the sea has collected large quantities of rounded logs and trunks.
The Ežurga breaks through the red rocks obliquely, cutting off a narrow corner of the cliff. To the north, a series of smaller outcrops can be found.
