Lamprey Day 2026
In autumn, Salacgrīva and Svētciems will traditionally host Lamprey Day (Nēģu diena) – a day dedicated to honoring a special coastal tradition: the craft of lamprey fishing, its master fishermen, and, of course, the lampreys themselves.
