Šmiti Guest Houses are located in Čūskmuiža, Salacgrīva Parish, surrounded by peaceful forest scenery.
Guests can choose between two log cabins. On the ground floor, each cabin features a small kitchenette, a cosy living room with a fireplace, a shower and a toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, an electric stove and a refrigerator. Comfortable sofas in the living room provide a perfect place to relax and enjoy the charm of the open fire.
On the upper floor, there is one double bed, one single bed and a sofa bed. Fresh bed linen is provided for guests’ convenience. One cabin is equipped with satellite TV, while the other offers Smart TV. A sauna is available for an additional fee. Tents can also be set up on the property for those who wish to enjoy a closer connection with nature.
A smaller wooden cottage is also available. On the ground floor, it features a small kitchenette, a lounge area with a sofa bed, a shower and a toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave oven, an electric stove and kitchen utensils. The upper floor has a double bed, and the cottage is equipped with a Smart TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in all cottages, and outdoor lounge chairs are provided next to each one.
Guests can also relax in a gazebo located on top of a hill, featuring an outdoor fireplace where they can grill their own delicacies. The gazebo is situated next to ponds suitable for swimming. There is a designated campfire area, and each cottage is equipped with a barbecue grill and grilling accessories. Guests can enjoy a streetball court with a basketball, play water polo in the pond, or use the beach volleyball court. The territory is illuminated at night and is under surveillance.
If you bring your bicycles, you can explore various cycling routes along forest trails and roads. Nearby lies the Salaca River, where you can admire the Red Cliffs and a restored historic iron bridge offering magnificent views. A little further away, there is a pedestrian bridge across the Salaca River, and it is possible to reach Ainaži Beach via forest roads. The surrounding area is also perfect for peaceful walks and enjoying the beauty of nature. In spring, guests can experience the enchanting scents of blooming nature, in summer they can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and various sports activities, while autumn offers the tranquillity and colours of the Indian summer.
