Jaunlāde manor
The current building of Jaunlāde Manor began its life in 1935 as Lāde Primary School.
Lāde Primary School was founded in 1870 and went through many changes until 2003, when it was closed. In 2015, the school building and surrounding land became private property and was renamed Jaunlāde Manor, unique in that its manor story begins in modern times.
The current owner aims not only to develop the manor and its life but also to preserve the soul of the school and share its cultural and historical legacy.
The building was inherited with a unique collection of educational teaching aids, which are now being organized and restored in a historical exhibition called “Corridor of Memories.” It includes items from 1950 to 2003, reflecting the education system in subjects like biology, geography, sports, and others.
