Munchausen's World
The Munchausen Museum brings back memories of the incredible adventures of Colonel Hieronymus Karl Friedrich Baron von Munchausen. The museum features extraordinary exhibits - weapons, hunting trophies and, of course, a wax figure of Munchausen himself.
At the Munchausen Museum:
- Take a peek into the Munchausen Hall of Fame;
- Discover the stories of Munchausen and Jacobine with a guided tour;
- Take a photo with wax figures of Maestro Raimonds Pauls, basketball star Uļjana Semjonova, Kārlis Ulmanis, Krišjānis Barons and other famous Latvian personalities;
- Dress up and take photos in antique costumes;
- Test your hunting instincts at the Munchausen shooting range.
Munchausen Forest Trail
The longest aspen tree trail in Europe and suitable for the tough and curious. Take a 1 km, 3.4 km or 4.3 km adventure and meet 55 storybook characters brought to life in wooden sculptures. Choose the longest trail and catch your breath on the white sands of Vidzeme beach.
Amusement ship
This is the largest wooden amusement ship in the Baltics. Designed for the smallest brave hearts. It features tubes for rides, swings and roller coasters.

The longest aspen boardwalk in Europe. The path is located in the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve and leads through the Vidzeme marsh forest, which is the only protected nature area of its kind in Latvia. The path is supplemented with various objects and figures related to the theme of Baron Munchausen.
